Multiethnic Literatures in the U.S.

This is the online presence of ENGL 113 “Introduction to Multiethnic Literatures in the U.S.” (an introductory English course taught at the University of Illinois at Chicago in the spring of 2008). This blog is/will be created and maintained by the students of this course. All of us (the students as well as myself) greatly appreciate and look forward to ”outside” contributions, critique, ideas, and general comments, as your contributions will enrich our discussions, further complicate our understanding of problems, and hone our critical output as cultural and literary critics. Check back periodically for additional suggested readings (theory and fiction), discussion threads on authors and novels, and student’s critical papers on multiethnic U.S. literature and culture.
